WWE Clash in Paris 2025: Superstars Missing the Show and Main Event

The upcoming WWE SmackDown Paris 2024 is bound to break new ground as the blue brand makes its French return in several years. Slated for August 29, this kicks off a huge weekend of WWE in Paris. Not only do fans get to see the WWE Clash in Paris on August 31 and WWE Raw on September 1, but it’s a three-day wrestling bonanza!

With the best of the best WWE talent in action, everyone’s attention will be focused on the World HeavyWeight Championship match but there are also some big names who won’t be present in a surprising twist to the Paris tour.

Main Attraction: Seth Rollins’ Championship Defense

The word from SmackDown Paris 2024 is that Seth Rollins is putting his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against not one, but three of the best:

  • Jey Uso
  • CM Punk
  • LA Knight

This huge four-way match should be a real standout on WWE’s European tour. Everyone’s waiting to see if Rollins can hold onto his title with these guys trying to take it from him.

3 WWE Superstars Missing WWE Clash in Paris 2025

1. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar, the Beast Incarnate, has not been seen from SummerSlam 2025 till now and next night in Paris will not be his comeback if this news is correct. Information indicates that he may be back for SmackDown on September 12 and 19 before the get together with John Cena at WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20. Once Lesnar is done with this eagerly awaited fight, he will be back going off again like any other part-timer.

2. Cody Rhodes

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes who just defeated John Cena this summer, will not be part of WWE Clash in Paris either. He is currently building momentum, headed toward his upcoming matchup with Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Wrestlepalooza. His absence will certainly be felt in Paris given the size of his fanbase worldwide and the popularity he is currently building.

3. Randy Orton

Randy Orton is back in WWE after being out with an injury. He recently teamed with Jelly Roll against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. He’s not going to the Paris event, though, as he eases back into wrestling full-time. Expect to see him again as we get closer to Wrestlepalooza in September.

WWE Clash in Paris: What Fans Could Expect

As a matter of fact, the absence of stars like Brock Lesnak, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton will not prevent the WWE clash in Paris from being one of the most thrilling in a long time for Paris fans. The American wrestling promotion has put together an event so wild that the French capital deserves it, from Rollins’ title defense to the potential of unexpected guest appearances.

Wrestlepalooza 2025 is coming to Paris, and the drama is going to escalate.
