Watch: Virat Kohli-Mohammed Siraj reunion in Practice Session Ahead Of RCB vs GT Clash
Fans are having a great time as the IPL 2025 delivers unbelievable thrills with each match. As the Royal Challengers Bengaluru prepare to face the Gujarat Titans, supporters are still unprepared for the matchup between Kohli and Siraj.
Over the years, fans have watched Mohammed Siraj and Virat Kohli’s a brotherly closeness. The IPL 2025 is shaping up to be a unique scenario, with the two facing off for their respective teams. Previously, their touching reunion at the practice session had won hearts.
The finest pacer was with RCB for seven years, from 2018 to 2024, but the team made a brave decision by not keeping him ahead of the 2025 super auction. A large number of RCB supporters were disappointed with the franchise’s choice, having seen Siraj’s development from a rookie bowler to one of the finest in the industry at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Siraj was purchased by Gujarat Titans for a hefty INR 12.25 crore at the super auction. He justified his price tag with a superb effort against the Mumbai Indians in the previous encounter.
The 31-year-old flew to Bengaluru with his Titans colleagues for the huge game against RCB, where he saw his former captain, Virat Kohli, whom he has long referred to as his superman.
The RCB uploaded a video of the reunion on their social media account. Kohli hugged Siraj in training and spoke with him, which moved the fans on X. The GT pacer also met and hugged other RCB teammates, demonstrating no ill will towards his previous team.
