The second day of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC 2025) Gauntlet Stage unfolded on November 25 at the bustling Imperial World Samrong in Bangkok, Thailand. The competition resumed at 4:30 PM IST (+7 UTC), with all Gauntlet teams playing six consecutive matches across PUBG Mobile’s classic battlegrounds—Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar. Day 2 quickly turned into a showcase of resilience, tactical brilliance, and comeback stories, as teams attempted to improve their standings and secure a stronger position heading into the next phase.

Day 2 began with a statement performance from ThunderTalk Gaming, who continued their authoritative run by securing a 13-elimination chicken dinner in Match 7. The Chinese powerhouse once again proved why they are considered one of the strongest international squads this season. Meanwhile, OG endured a difficult start, collecting just 3 points on Rondo and falling behind early in the day.

DRX found redemption in Match 8, returning to form with a much-needed Winner Winner Chicken Dinner and a solid 17-point haul. The third match of the day (Match 9) witnessed KARA Esports stepping up, adding a crucial 21 points to their tally and strengthening their push for a top-three finish.

The middle phase of the day saw consistency take center stage. Madbulls clinched the fourth match, picking up 20 points, followed immediately by Regnum Carya, who also delivered a powerful 20-point chicken dinner in Match 11. Both squads capitalized on momentum and punished teams that faltered in rotations and late-zone positioning.

The final match of Day 2 produced yet another highlight as Alpha7 Esports secured their second chicken dinner of the Gauntlet Stage, earning 16 vital points. KARA Esports also ended the day on a positive note, adding 14 more points to keep themselves firmly in contention for the top spot.

ThunderTalk Gaming Extend Their Lead as Kara and Madbulls Stay in the Hunt

By the end of Day 2, ThunderTalk Gaming cemented their status as the team to beat, finishing the day comfortably at the top with 120 points. Their ability to balance aggression with disciplined zone play has been one of the standout narratives of the tournament so far.

Kara Esports, riding on consistent match performances and a crucial chicken dinner, trail closely with 112 points, while Madbulls occupy third place with 99 points after back-to-back top-tier finishes.

On the other hand, India’s IQOO Orangutan slipped to the 10th position with 65 points, struggling to find their rhythm despite flashes of brilliance earlier in the competition. With only a limited number of matches left in the Gauntlet Stage, the pressure is mounting for OR to bounce back and stay in the hunt for PMGC glory.
