The Indian team, IQOO Orangutan, is making their debut on the global stage and performing well. The team’s combination of pressure, smart rotational play, and clutch finishes have allowed them to position themselves in 4th place. They finished day 1 with 43 points, solidifying their place in the race for the Top 7 teams. With only two match days remaining in the Gauntlet Stage, every subsequent match will be critical.

Today, there will be a total of six games played on Erangel, Miramar, and Rondo, starting at 4:30 PM IST. With only 12 total matches remaining in the Gauntlet Stage, the pursuit of the Top 7 teams – who will earn a spot in the PMGC 2025 Grand Finals – continues to heat up.

PMGC‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ 2025 Gauntlet Format Explained

The Gauntlet Stage is a showdown between 16 teams that qualified through different regional championships. To gather points, all teams participate in 18 matches (6 matches per day) spread across three days.

The Top 7 teams at PMGC 2025 Grand Finals will be those who make it out from the Gauntlet Stage, and the rest of the teams will be going into the Group Stage. Because of such a small margin, the Gauntlet requires the teams to be absolutely perfect in their execution and also have the skill to quickly adapt to the game if the scenarios ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌change.
