In an effort to increase attendance at Rawalpindi for the first Test match against Bangladesh, the Pakistan Cricket Board is providing free access for the last two days of play.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given free admission for the final two days (the fourth and fifth) of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in an effort to increase attendance during the long weekend. The goal of this program is to get kids and families to attend the match, which is a part of the 2023–25 ICC World Test Championship.

Pakistan has seen extremely poor attendance at the Rawalpindi Stadium throughout previous Test series, particularly when nations like England and New Zealand visited. This choice could encourage more people to watch Test matches and reignite fan enthusiasm.

Limitations on the provision of free access

Tickets that have already been purchased for the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box are not eligible for the free entrance offer. A complete refund will be given to attendees who have already bought tickets for the fourth and fifth days. Refunds for online ticket purchases will be automatically applied to the credit or debit card that was used at the time of purchase. To receive a refund, customers who purchased their tickets at Express Centres must present their original tickets to the location.

Upon producing their authentic CNIC or B-form (identification card in Pakistan), spectators are admitted free of charge into the stadium. They can opt to watch the game from the premium enclosures (Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat) or from either of the VIP enclosures (Imran Khan and Javed Miandad), which are designated for families.
