On Wednesday, nine terror targets were successfully attacked by the Indian Armed Forces using special precision weapons in an operation named Operation Sindoor, which targeted four targets in Pakistan, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Sarjal, and Mehmoona Joya, and five in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
The operation was conducted in collaboration by the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, where mobilisation of assets and troops took place. The attacks on all nine of the targeted sites proved to be successful, sources also revealed.
The Indian troops had chosen the points to attack highest Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commanders responsible for financing terror attacks in India. This was the deepest raid inside Pakistan’s non-disputed terrain by India after 1971. This was New Delhi’s most impactful armed intervention in the Pakistani domain within the past five decades.
