Ashes 2025-26: Glenn McGrath Predicts Total Whitewash – Here’s Why

Australian cricket great Glenn McGrath is predicting that England will suffer a complete 5-0 whitewash once again during the Ashes 2025-26 series. McGrath has made that bold call before every Ashes series, but this time he thinks Australia will be too good for England on home soil.

He predicted a similar result before the 2023 ashes, but it ended up being a 2-2 tie with Australia retaining the urn. McGrath is confident that this time it will be history repeating itself, but much more dominantly.

“When you’ve got Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon all informed in their home conditions, it’s going to be tough,” McGrath told BBC Radio 5 Live.
