4. Rahul Dravid (India): 206 Innings
India’s “The Wall” Rahul Dravid scored 206 innings to reach this milestone, a single less than Steve Smith. Dravid crossed the 10,000-test run milestone in 2008, while it took him 11 years and 280 days since he made his Test debut.

Brian Lara of the West Indies, Sachin Tendulkar of India, and Kumar Sangakkara of Sri Lanka had reached the same milestone of 10,000 Test runs together in the fewest innings taken by any other batsmen as well: that is in just 195 innings.
- Brian Lara was the first to do so in 2004.
- Sachin Tendulkar followed in 2005.
- Kumar Sangakkara completed the milestone in 2012.
