Enzo Maresca Drops Chelsea Bombshell: Two Stars Banned Amid Shock Transfer Talks!
Chelsea will be missing numerous players for their game against West Ham, but the reasons are from the boardroom rather than the treatment room.
Blues boss Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku will not be in tomorrow’s squad due to uncertainty over their club futures. Both players are still in transfer limbo as prospective transfers are being evaluated. Maresca stated that if both sportsmen continue at Chelsea once the transfer window closes, they would be reintegrated into the first-team system.

“Jackson is available, but won’t be included in the squad because we already have two strikers in that position, and we understand that things might change before the transfer window closes,” Maresca stated on the press conference.
He also mentioned that Christopher Nkunku is in the same boat—he’s practicing with the team, but his future is up in the air. The coach thinks a transfer would be the best thing for everyone involved. Christopher is in the same situation as Nico, he said.
“Christopher is in the same situation as Nico. He’s training with us, but waiting for a decision. I think it will be better if they find a solution—then both the players and the club will be happier.”
