Bowlers to take most wickets in a single IPL match

Alzarri Joseph

West Indies speedster Alzarri Joseph leads the way. He took six wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad while playing for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2019 season. He took six wickets, surrendering 12 runs in 3.4 overs.

Sohail Tanvir

Pakistani sprinter Sohail Tanvir is second on the list. During the first season in 2008, he took six wickets for the Rajasthan Royals against the Chennai Super Kings. He gave up 14 runs in four overs during his six-wicket haul.

Adam Zampa

The Australian star is also included in the tally for his bowling performance in 2016. He took six wickets for the Supergiants against Sunrisers Hyderabad, allowing 19 runs in his four-over session.

Anil Kumble

Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble is also included on the list. He took five wickets against RR while playing for RCB in the IPL 2009 season. He surrendered five runs in his 3.1 overs.

Akash Madhwal

Akash Madhwal also adds five wickets for MI. He accomplished this achievement in the IPL 2023 during a match versus LSG. He allowed five runs in 3.3 overs.

Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah, an Indian speedster, is also on the list. During the 2022 match against KKR, MI’s speedster took five wickets in four overs.

Mohit Sharma
