The people who pick the Indian cricket team have a lot of say in how things go. They decide who plays, plan for the future, and their choices really make a difference for Team India. Since India plays in all sorts of tournaments, the selectors have to find a good mix of seasoned players and fresh talent, while also making sure there are good players waiting on the sidelines.

This is a big deal for the women’s team too, as they get ready for big global tournaments. And the junior selectors have the important job of helping young, up-and-coming cricketers become the next stars for India.
