After Sancho Chelsea is Ready to Another Dortmund attacker

The Athletic states that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund forward Jamie Gittens for a seven-year deal. It remains uncertain if the England U21 international will be going to London this summer. Sky Germany reports that Chelsea and the Bundesliga team are still significantly divided on the transfer cost.

Dortmund currently maintains a €50m asking price. The Blues have presented a starting bid of €35m. Gittens has a present estimated market value that aligns with the fee requested by BVB. Germany’s Schwarzgelben successfully resisted earlier interest from Arsenal by standing firm on their €50m asking price.

Despite inconsistent reports regarding the winger’s desire to leave Dortmund, Gittens was given two starting opportunities in the last four Bundesliga matches of his team this season. The 20-year-old netted an impressive 12 goals and provided four assists in 48 matches throughout all competitions this season.

Gittens has a BVB contract that valid until 2028.
