After Club WC Masterclass, Kolo Muani Drops Transfer Hint: Will PSG Block His Juventus Dream?
Randal Kolo Muani is causing a stir at the Club World Cup — and his recent comments could potentially influence the summer transfer market.
Randal Kolo Muani netted two goals in Juventus’ 5-0 rout of Al Ain during their Club World Cup debut last night, with the French striker rewarding the Bianconeri for their trust in him as he aims to remain at the club.
Kolo Muani has been on loan at Juventus from Champions League champions Paris Saint-Germain for the past six months, netting eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances to assist the Old Lady in securing fourth place, edging out Roma by only one point.
Nonetheless, at present, the 25-year-old’s stint in Italy is expected to conclude as his loan agreement ends following the Club World Cup. PSG permitted Juventus to prolong the agreement for the length of the ongoing competition taking place in the USA, but as it stands, the Frenchman will head back to his parent club once Juventus’ involvement concludes.
Kolo Muani stated “I want to stay”
In an interview with Mediaset, through CalcioMercato, the ex-Frankfurt striker stated, “it is never easy to win 5-0” and that “we are happy, but we now have to play just as well in the second match.”
Post-match, Kolo Muani was clear: I’m happy here. I can play well and score goals.” A daring statement that demands action from all involved — Juventus, PSG, and even other potential European contenders possibly waiting in the wings.
Kolo Muani was inquired about his future and his feelings towards Juventus, responding, Honestly, I feel very good here. I can play well and score goals. I am happy, I hope to stay.”
Juventus’ Call on Kolo Muani
Juventus want to retain the French international but would rather secure a new loan with a purchase option. Nonetheless, PSG is favoring a complete transfer, aiming to recover a significant sum after investing €90 million (£76.5m) in him in 2023.
The difficulty? Juve must address Dusan Vlahović’s future, with his deal expiring in 2026, and they continue to pursue Victor Osimhen from Napoli. That creates a possible bottleneck in offense — and constrained financial flexibility.
