Cristiano Ronaldo Urges Al-Nassr to Sign Casemiro From Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo urges Al-Nassr to sign Casemiro as Manchester United approves his transfer for £30M. Can the Saudi club seal the deal before January 30?

Cristiano Ronaldo Urges Al-Nassr to Sign Casemiro From Manchester United

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to bring Casemiro, his former Real Madrid teammate, to the Saudi Pro League club. Manchester United is said to be willing to sell the midfielder in January. The Brazilian now has to race against time as the transfer window is soon to close.

Casemiro Struggles for Game Time at Manchester United

Since Ruben Amorim took the charge at Old Trafford, Casemiro hasn’t been able to do enough to find his spot in the starting XI. The 32-year-old midfielder was an unused replacement for Manchester United’s last three Premier League matches and was sat on the bench during their 2-1 Europa League victory over Rangers. As it seems Casemiro is not in the manager’s plan, the club has allowed him to go, putting a £30 million ($37.4m) price tag on him.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Influence at Al-Nassr

According to the Daily Star, Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr’s management to sign Casemiro to strengthen the squad and revive their Saudi Pro League title challenge. Despite previously showing interest in the Brazilian, the Knights of Najd had cooled their pursuit, but Ronaldo’s intervention could change that.

Cristiano Ronaldo & Casemiro: A Winning Partnership

Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro have a proven past together at Real Madrid and Manchester United. With Los Blancos, they won numerous championships, collecting several trophies in the UEFA Champions League but failed to really bring much silverware to Old Trafford. So far, they have played 122 matches together, with an on-field chemistry that could be beneficial for Al Nassr.

Al-Nassr’s Race Against Time

The Saudi Pro League transfer window will close on January 30 at midnight. This gives Al-Nassr only a few hours left to finalize deals with both Manchester United and Casemiro, making it an ideal move that will boost the club in midfield to push towards domestic and continental success.
