On January 28, the Hobart Hurricanes did history by clinching their maiden Big Bash League (BBL) title. The team managed to beat David Warner’s Sydney Thunder in the grand final through a record-equalling century by young star Mitchell Owen. A couple of fabulous batting performances highlighted the tournament where a few individuals significantly impacted it.
