WWE Is About to Get Wild – 4 WWE Shocking Returns We Could See Soon
4 Stars Who Could Make Their WWE Shocking Return Soon
Few things can get WWE’s live crowds louder than a returning (or sometimes, controversial) superstar. Over the years, unannounced returns have become a mainstay in the wrestling world that often creates an earthquake through the WWE Universe.
Brock Lesnar’s return on SummerSlam Night 2 proved that regardless of controversies, a big return always pops the crowd. While Lesnar’s status is one-of-a-kind, there are other superstars that could generate just as much pops with a comeback.
Here are four stars that could Make Their WWE Shocking Return in the coming time and make headlines in the wrestling industry.

4. Paige (Saraya)
When Saraya left AEW earlier this year, fans right away started wondering if she would go back to WWE as Paige, the character that made her famous in women’s wrestling.
A lot of people thought she would come back when WWE brought back Evolution, their all-women’s big show. That didn’t happen, and now Saraya can work wherever she wants, which means she could still go back to WWE.
Because of her past and how many fans she has, if Paige showed up again, it would not only make the women’s division better but also get a ton of attention online.
3. Buddy Matthews
AEW star Buddy Matthews just had a fix-up for his ankle. He hurt it back in February while in a match with Kazuchika Okada at AEW Grand Slam Australia.
Matthews used to be in WWE, where he didn’t get the big push under Vince McMahon that many felt he should have. Now, with Paul Heyman and others in charge, things might look up for him.
Plus, he’s with WWE star Rhea Ripley in real life. So, a comeback for any reason – made-up or real – could very well happen.
2. The Hardy Boyz – One Final WWE Run?
The fans had a great surprise at SummerSlam Night 2. The Hardy Boyz appeared alongside The Dudley Boyz to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the first TLC match.
When Matt and Jeff Hardy appeared, the crowd erupted showing their connection to the fans is still better than anyone else. They are currently TNA Tag Team Champions and still showing unit they can perform at a high level.
With the WWE and TNA partnership becoming stronger, the possibility of The Hardy Boyz making a collectivity for one final run in WWE now seems much more realistic – not to mention the fans would love it.
1. Shane McMahon
Shane McMahon hasn’t been on WWE since WrestleMania 39 when he hurt his leg in a quick match with The Miz.
Reports came out that Shane talked to Tony Khan from AEW about helping manage the company, but it looks like that went nowhere.
Even though that started some rumors, it’s way more likely Shane McMahon will come back to WWE than work for a competing wrestling company. He’s been with WWE for a long time, and fans always go wild for him. If he came back, it would be a huge deal for WWE.
Whether it’s a star like Shane McMahon, a trailblazer like Paige, or fan favorites like The Hardy Boyz, these possible WWE Shocking Return could shift WWE’s scene in 2025.
So, the big question is – which one will come back first?
