May God Bless Him” – Rishabh Pant’s Kind Gesture for Fan Goes Viral

Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter, is popular not just for his awesome batting skills, but also because he’s a genuinely nice person. Whether he’s smiling when the game gets tough or chatting with fans after a match, the 27-year-old is really something special.

And now, Pant is making headlines again – but this time, it’s not because of a massive six or a great stumping. He recently helped a girl from Karnataka pay for her college fees, proving once again that he’s a hero even when he’s not on the cricket field.

Rishabh Pant Covers College Fees for a Deserving Girl from Karnataka

In the latest viral story circulating on social media, Rishabh Pant financially supported a student by the name of Jyoti Kanaboor Math from Karnataka. Jyoti was a good student and passed her Class 12 exams with flying colours, but she was unable to pursue a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) due to a lack of money.

Jyoti’s father runs a tea stall, and although she did great in school, she did not have the money to pay for college admission.

When a local contractor by the name of Anil Hunashikatti, a friend of Pant, heard about her situation, he contacted the cricketer. Pant immediately transferred ₹40,000 to cover an entire semester’s fee.

“I completed my II PUC in Galagali and had a dream of pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) course. But our financial condition at home was not good. I approached Anil Hunashikatti Anna (brother), and he reached out to his friends in Bengaluru. They brought my situation to Rishabh Pant’s attention, and he helped me,” Jyoti stated on an interview to IANS.

Jyoti’s Emotional Message for Rishabh Pant

Inspired by the action, Jyoti said:

“May God bless Rishabh Pant with good health. His help means a lot to me. I hope he continues to support other students from poor backgrounds like me.”

The gesture has made a difference not only in Jyoti’s life, but it has also inspired millions of fans and showed how sports personalities can impact society off the field.

It’s not new for Rishabh Pant to lend a hand. Before, he gave ₹90,000 to a student who needed it to finish their engineering studies.

We don’t always hear about these acts, but they show the real side of the cricketer—a man who cares about giving back to the people who cheer him on all the time.
