The Indian Premier League (IPL) has produced some of the most explosive innings in T20 cricket history, including numerous quick hundreds.

However, no one has been quicker than Chris Gayle’s scorching 30-ball century against the now-defunct Pune Warriors in the 2013 IPL, which remains the tournament’s fastest century.

Gayle, who was playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru), scored an unbeaten 175 off just 66 deliveries at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, the highest individual score in T20 cricket. His spectacular knock propelled the home team to a commanding 130-run victory.

At just 14 years and 23 days old, Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest-ever hundred after smashing a scorching 101* off 36 balls for the Rajasthan Royals against the Gujarat Titans, rewriting IPL history.

He came in during a stressful period and smashed eight fours and nine sixes in an innings that will never be forgotten, with a remarkable strike rate of 280.55. In just 35 balls, he achieved the quickest century by a player under the age of 18 in IPL history.

 3. Yusuf Pathan (RR): 37 Balls (2010)

Among the quickest in IPL history is Yusuf Pathan’s 37-ball century for the Rajasthan Royals against the Mumbai Indians in 2010. Pathan, who is renowned for his vicious hitting, changed the course of the match by himself, destroying bowlers across Wankhede Stadium. Even though he hit eight sixes and nine fours throughout his innings, Rajasthan was unable to reach the mark.

4. David Miller (KXIP): 38 Balls (2013)

David Miller’s match-winning century off 38 balls against Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2013 remains one of the IPL’s most memorable chases. Miller, who played for Kings XI Punjab, went in when his team was suffering and unleashed an incredible counterattack, smashing seven fours and eight sixes to lead his team to win in Mohali.
