Watch: Preity Zinta’s Crazy Reaction After Prabhsimran Singh hit Six to Sunil Narine
Prabhsimran Singh, on Saturday (April 26), hit an outrageous shot for a six against Sunil Narine’s bowling in the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings at the Eden Gardens.
Following PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer’s decision to win the toss and bat first, Prabhsimran Singh found it hard to get going in the initial overs while his opening colleague Priyansh Arya contributed most of the runs. By the 4th over, Priyansh was batting on 28 off 11 balls while Prabhsimran Singh was batting on a run-a-ball 13.
The wicket-keeper batsman finally found his rhythm in the fifth over when he smashed Harshit Rana for a four and a six. He then cleaned up Sunil Narine in the 11th over. Narine had only given 7 runs in his first two overs, but that did not deter Prabhsimran from going hammer and tongs at KKR veteran.
Priyansh dispatched Narine’s first ball for a six and then Prabhsimran dispatched him for two more sixes. And the first of those two sixes was downright outrageous. Narine pitched one up and Prabhsimran used the switch hit to clear the stands. He connected well, hitting the ball over the deep extra cover fence for a 77-meter six.

Discussing the match, PBKS were on 136/1 in the 13th over when writing this report. Prabhsimran and skipper Shreyas Iyer were at the crease in the middle for the visitors. Earlier during the match, Prabhsimran and Priyansh placed PBKS in command by scoring 120 runs for the first wicket.
Andre Russell ended the stand in the 12th over by sending Priyansh back. The young lad left after scoring 69 runs off 35 balls with the support of 8 fours and 4 sixes. Prabhsimran has also reached his fifty and will be hoping to convert it into a century.
