Rajasthan Royals stand-in skipper Riyan Parag guided his club to their first win of the season, defeating Chennai Super Kings in a gripping match in Guwahati. Parag’s outstanding defensive effort, combined with his hitting, helped seal the victory.

However, Parag got embroiled in considerable controversy following the game. Riyan Parag was caught on live television snapping a selfie with the IPL staff at the Guwahati venue.

After snapping the selfie, he flung the phone back to the team rather than gently handing it up. The event took one of the team members off guard, but luckily the equipment was not damaged.

Parag’s behaviour was exposed on social media, and followers severely ridiculed him for being arrogant towards them. However, in the same video, he is seen signing a signature for a groundsman.
